Armani’s new Japanese brunch great value-for-money

The Armani Hotel in the lower levels of the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building in Dubai, has just unveiled the latest Friday brunch offering in the city at its Hashi Japanese restaurant.
Guests have the full run of this top restaurant which serves up a magnificent buffet, a fine combinaton of Japanese cuisine and the traditional Dubai Friday brunch, served up in the unique architecture of the Burj Khalifa with an excellent view over its fountain display.
Affordable opulence
It is a sign of the times that this sort of opulence has become far more affordable. With soft beverages this feast is just AED290. With unlimited prosecco just AED380 and Bollinger champagne AED585.
For over the past year the number of hotel rooms in Dubai has grown by 16 per cent and the restaurants at least in proportion. There is now more competition to fill restaurants, even at the upper end of the scale like the Armani Hotel.
But the Hashi restaurant is rather special with its smart modern interior and views, not to mention the state-of-the-art tradional and modern Japanese cuisine.
Choose from the freshest fish flown in daily from around the world. Enjoy the sushi, sashimi, maki and robatayaki. The brunch package also includes a choice of main courses including tepanyaki cooked to your own specification, and some rather special entres.
Amazing desserts
To complete this gourmet feast there are some fine desserts that perhaps owe more to the Italian chefs in the Armani, like tiamasu and raspberry topped pastries, along with some extraordinary Japanese fried ice cream.
It’s quite an experience, and if you were paying for the individual dishes and drinks in a typical upper-end Japanese restaurant this would cost double or treble this amount.
No wonder word has spread about this brunch and you already need to book well in advance. A lot of Armani Hotel guests also seem delighted by this Friday option so book early to avoid disappointment.
