Burj Dubai topped out!

No official announcement yet – but you can hardly miss this building from anywhere in Dubai so it is hard to keep the obvious hidden – and it looks like this is the final topping out of the Burj Dubai. Height must be around 850 metres but official confirmation still awaited. But have a gander at this nice video from YouTube – the Burj Dubai is just one of many buildings going up in this city, whatever the property market conditions. However, the Burj Dubai is the tallest building in the world and with the global recession hitting plans to build higher, it could well be for some years to come.
