Revolutionary Apple call centre for Dubai iStore

Welcome to the future and only the US computer giant Apple could come up with this: call the Dubai iStore for help with your computer and something very unusual happens.
No you don’t get put through to a menu of options to choose from. Leave that to the Citi telephone bank, or the local telecom operator du whose call centres annoy even more people than its extremely confusing billing policies.
Hello can I help?
Call the Apple iStore in Dubai and you actually get a helpful human being answering the phone. Its revolutionary. How come nobody else has ever thought of that?
The human touch is also remarkably efficient. No more time-wasting being past around departments. And do you know, it actually works for the company too. Happy customers are people who spend money and like to do business with you.
Well perhaps that is not true for telephone companies who make money by keeping you waiting as long as possible in their queuing systems. But it is all so unnecessary, and an evil of modern commercial life.
So the company that has given us the revolutionary iMac computers, the iPhone and now the iPad has worked out that sometimes technology is not the answer. People do make a difference, especially when they are permitted to talk to customers and help them with their problems.
Of course you need to train a lot of competent staff to pull this revolution off successfully. But is that not how trustworthy and efficient companies operate?
Back to basics
Is this not just the time to go back to basics. A recession makes every business examine its work processes and what works and what does not. Where is money best spent and where not?
Apple is now telling us that the future of the call centre and automated responses to telephone calls is that it does not have one. Perhaps within a few years the whole world will have woken up and taken notice of Apple’s leadership.
In the meantime if you want to get your iMac computer fixed in Dubai then do not hesitate to call 04 352 3040 and speak to a human being.

What are you exactly talking about. There is no such thing as the ‘Dubai’ Istore. The Istore is simply an call center (not in dubai) which people can order apple products from.
Ed Note: Well in Dubai it is a maintenance shop.
