Watch the May 6th flash crash on Fox TV

This was the day the earth moved for Wall Street. It happened right out of the blue on a screen near you. Volatility may have calmed down in stocks right now but this is not necessarily over.

Where is the market moving data to send stocks up? It is not really obvious. Housing and consumer spending are still down. The eurozone situation hardly looks encouraging, and the UK has an austerity budget on Tuesday. Stocks can and do change direction quickly these days.
